Project 2: Our school

SCHOOL PROJECT 

Work individualy or with a partner. 
 
It is your last course in your school and you've been a student for many years now.
So why don't you tell us about your experience?


- Why does your school have that name?

The school have his name because Magdalena Aulina wanted to call it Casa Nostra. Because this name break off lot of values.

- How many students are there in your school?Are there boys and girls?

In the school there are more or less 280 sutdents. Yes, there are boys and girls. 
-What are teachers like?

Teachers are strict but they are friendly.

-What is the school building like?

The school building is big but old.

-Have you got a uniform? What is it like?

No, we haven’t

-What time does school start and when does it finish?

The school starts at 9 o’clock in the morning and finishes at 5 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. And on Wednesday and Friday, starts at 8:30 and finishes at 3.

- What lessons are compulsory?

All subjects are compulsory except French, Economy, Technology and Physical.

- What do you have for lunch at school?

For lunch at school we have catering.

- What sports do you play?

Years ago, in this school you can play basketball, but not now.

- Does the school have a logo? What is it like?

Yes. 
 

- What are your favourite things about school?

The favourite thing is the playground.

- What about the teachers?

 All the teachers are friendly and good people but they are strict and serious. But they help you when you need it.

Speaking project: A school exchange Task 1: Hi, my name is Aiman and today I’m going to explain to you the itinerary that I think for the school exchange. First day: On the first day we are going to visit the school. First of all we went to get the newcomers to the station. Then we went back to school with a bus while we chatted with them. We showed them our school facade, our teachers, the playground and finally the classes. At lunchtime we will went to eat at “Can Pericus” a restaurant that made delicious hamburgers. At the afternoon we will go to Parc de la Draga to see the stars and relax all together. Second day: On the second day we will go to visit the Banyoles museums, the Darder and the archaeological. Later, we will going to see the lake and eat something in a bar near the lake. With the newcomers we will visit the center of Banyoles and visit some shops and interesting points of the city. Finally at night the newcomers will return to their houses.

My trip to Italy

Last week I went to Italy with my class. It was an awful week and I'll always remember it. It was so funny. On Monday, we caught a plane in Barcelona and we arrived in Malpensa. We visited Sirmione, were we ate a delicious pizza. Then, we went to Verona and we visited the all city. On Tuesday, we visited Venice. It ' s a very beautiful city. There are a lot of tou r ists, but the city was very good . On Wednesday, we went to Florence. It's a city with a lot of historic buildings. We visited Santa Maria del Fiore, an impressive cathedral, builded by Brunelleschi. Then we went to have dinner and finally to the hotel. On Thursday we visited Florence, too. We went to two museums and we went up to the cathedral. Then, we went to the hotel and we stayed there all the evening. On Friday, we visited Lucca and Pisa. In Lucca there wasn't anything interesting, but in Pisa we saw the leaning Tower. It was so impressive an the gardens next to the tower were beautiful

Highland games

FROM MAY TO SEPTEMBER Highland games are held in Scotland in summer- it's a sporting tradition. Events incude throwing heavy metal objects and ever tree trunks, but there are also races, Scottish Higland dancing competitions and the "tug-of-war". You need to be fit and very strong to win!!
